WarCraft 3- DOTA (Defense of the Ancients)

Hello people, i am back and better than ever, well not really. well i am back..... hurray... for another BLOG ^_^. For this blog i will be talking about DOTA, a mod for the game Warcraft 3: frozen throne.

This game has been out for many years but since recently i have started to play it at my web design class(SHOUT OUT) and it is alot of fun, now when i first saw it i though to myself, this doesnt seem to be "THAT FUN" as it was just another point and click game and at the time i wasnt really into RTS, but due to my open mind i had played the game and was really suprised at the depth and stratagy the game creates.


The game seems to be simple, 5 vs 5, one on scourge and one on sentinal, and you have to choose your heros from either side(APEM FTW) to combat each other, the game rely heavily on technique and item builds, as well as teamwork. The game can take as long as two hours(depending on skill level of course) with both team battling it out in taking over of the bases and taking out the tree or the crystal.

Now this blog is about what i do in DOTA not a summary so let me get you in on some builds that i have been taught by the better players around me
